Music Director Janis Wallace on Silver Spotlight Theatre’s next production, Stephen Sondheim’s Into The Woods:
Stephen Sondheim wrote ‘No One is Alone’ and Silver Spotlight’s production of Into the Woods is a wonderful, wonder-filled opportunity to experience his concept of working together for a common goal. In the first half, the fairytale characters are all in it for themselves – with disastrous results. In the end, Sondheim helps them work together to correct their errors. His witty lyrics and aerobic melodies show the characters are more like us than we think. Join us to spend a moment in the woods.”
